by the way, i love caves.  missouri, state of my childhood, holds some sort of national title in terms of both quantity and quality. i took this for granted for the entirety of my upbringing, especially in lieu of my father being an architect for the parks system. caves were like same shit, different day. stalagtites and mites. tom sawyer. bats. salamanders. ho hum.  and now it must be 15 years since i've seen or been inside one.

unfortunately they do not seem to be offering this little gem online but this place does (along with the white one and the full line of superheadz merch).

 if only i could go to the isle of governors (my true summer love!) every single weekend.

in other news, the mind continues to be boggled at all that is yokoo. the name! the hair! the photos! the glasses! the gear!

seriously, i have followed her merch for awhile now but every time i remember to update myself, its an overwhelming delight to the senses.

i may be crafty once in awhile. and i may have sported a bowl once (it's true!), but i will NEVER EVER be 3/10ths  as cool as yokoo.

i am dying to get a sporty  schwinn (or otherwise) and flip my handlebars.  do you remember how everyone used to do this? i had completely forgotten

 until just now.

there's a lot to love about this photo.

though it forces me to (yet again) become  nostalgic for the schwinn i probably erroneously sold earlier this summer in the wake of getting a new bike. note to self: in the future you can have as many clunky bikes as there are sign posts! 

sorry to be a relatively one trick pony with the last few posts but i don't seem to be the only one sentimental as far as bikes (and photography) are concerned.
